Dr. Meghan Lark is a native of Detroit and is a current general surgery resident at Indiana University. Her medical illustrative work was born out of a desire for improved visual learning aids during her medical training.
What started as her own personal study material has since expanded and been disseminated in medical literature. Underpinning her work is a belief in the power of illustration to expand the understanding of human anatomy and surgical disease for both patients and providers.
